COMMODITIES | ARE YOU MISSING THE BIG PICTURE HERE?

Everyone’s got their eyes fixed on gold and silver. This is a problem! You could potentially be missing out on other opportunities that can offer the equal value in returns, or even greater. By now, most of my viewers should know that I like to follow the trend. Growing up as a surfer, I have an eye for seeing the swell of the wave starting to form. I’m starting to see it in the commodities, but not just any, a specific commodity. This certain commodity I’ve been watching is the 3rd most important industrial metal. Some of it’s main attributes are, transmitting heat, resistance against corrosion, electrical conductivity, malleability, and ductility.

As you can see, all of its attributes have a strong correlation of where our future is headed, in terms of ‘usage’, considering we are migrating and adapting to digital era. Investors are pouring into this space, which has already had a major price increase from $1.96 in april this year, to $3.23 per lb as of today. Many analysts, including BOA, say they see this commodity trading upwards of $5-$6.25….that’s about a 80-100% gain from where we are now. According to Tom Traedel and his colleagues over at Yale university; the annual demand for this commodity is increasing by 575,000 tons annually and this is only accelerating.

Based on 2006 figures, per capita consumption by 2100, the global demand for this commodity will surpass the amount that is extractable from the ground. If you guys don’t know where I’m getting at with this, let’s jump back to basic economics. Price valuations always come down to supply and demand. With this demand increasing, and the supply dwindling, we have a perfect storm for a raising asset price.

In hindsight it looks like a bull market has already started within this sector, as we have seen a 50-60% increase within the last several months. Knowing what you’re investing in leads to confidence within your investment. I’ve seen many times people that invest into an asset knowing little to none about the asset which leads to. .. fear, uncertainty, and doubt about their investment. A symptom of that is, selling your position too early and missing out of the potential gains.

Can you guys guess what commodity I could be talking about? Leave a comment down below, I’d love to hear what you guys think it might be. Share your thoughts on this certain commodity.
